Poetry Thursday

Iris, copyright 2006, Joan Z. Rough

Through The Lens

Petals fall Away
Revealing
Secret Landscapes
Painted ladies
Bumble bees
Gather Nectar
Sunlight
Filters silky veils
Pearls of dew
Edge loosely woven folds
Grain of pollen
Desire
Soft breaths of deliverance
Dieties float through the frame
Inviting me to follow

The blogger gods seem to be letting up a little, and I hope I can get my comment in!

Lovely phrasing here, and the image is perfect for the poem. Thank you!

Beautiful -
What a welcome invitation to follow the dieties through the lense into the secret landscapes

NICE shot... iris can be so uncooperative when being photographed.
