This weeks prompt on One Deep Breath is "storms." It is a stormy time of year. It is a stormy time of life.
angry tears
like sudden summer rain
thunder and lightning, too
hot tempered heart
autumnal gusts of leaves
chilled by rimey nights
in winter’s hand
wind carries frozen crystals
the field a drift of snow
April’s greening pasture
early birds sing at dawn
a sudden flood of mirth

I enjoyed your storms, thanks.
